I played guitar for about 7 years begining in about 7th grade and put it down for 30 years. I picked it up about 2 years ago but because of some arthritis in the fingers of my left hand it was becoming harder to play. I put it down for about year when someone at church asked me to fill in at bass. I traded in my gear for a new bass and bass amp and have not looked back. I love it.
I have learned a lot over the last couple of years that I wish my guitar teach would have taught me when I was a kid. I may not have ever put it down.
The three biggest influences in the past 3 years have been Guitar Alliance, Fretboard Logic, Bass Guitar Secrets and Victor Wooten.
